The Law Office of Cogan & Hanrahan

The Law Office of Cogan & Hanrahan focuses on workers' compensation and personal injury law. Our firm has represented injured clients in Yuba-Sutter and the surround communities since 2004. John Cogan has retired while Seamus Hanrahan has taken lead of the firm. Our office understands the physical, emotional, and financial toll an injury can cause, and we focus on helping to ensure that the rights of our clients are protected. We do not have up-front feed - we don't get paid unless you do.

Seamus Hanrahan, Attorney at Law

I come from a farming background in Ireland and worked construction when I first came to the United States. I know the value of hard work and how devastating an injury can be to someone's ability to earn a living. I have been in practice in California for over 20 years, and I understand that it is difficult to call an attorney, particularly when you have been injured at work.

Many injured workers have worries beyond their medical treatment. How will I support my family? Will I lose my job? How quickly will I be able to get back to work? When you come in for a consultation, I will answer your questions in plain language. No one will force you to do anything. If I represent you, then, together, we will decide on a path going forward. It is important at the end of the consultation that you know the how and why of the plan to get you the compensation to which you are entitled. You did not choose to get injured, but you can choose to be represented by an effective attorney who is in your corner.

I look forward to meeting you.
